Pass Grade 10 with Pure Maths/Maths Lit & English

GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Occupational qualifications that end in a trade is exempted from FLC
2. Knowledge of Mathematical formulas/Ratios/Fractions is essential in the above trade
3. If a learner has Grade 9 Maths or Grade 10, 11 or 12 Maths Lit – MSC Artisan requires them to do an institutional numeracy assessment.
4. Should a learner not pass the MSC Artisan entry assessment he/she will be required to complete an inhouse mathematical course (NQF 4/aligned to N2 Engineering Maths) at an extra cost. This “bridging” course will have 10 contact sessions and they will be expected to demonstrate competence.
5. The reason for this is to ensure they are able to manage the mathematical aspects of the qualifications and are more equipped for success.
